Artdidact, who are we ?

Artdidact is a non profit regroupment of french art lovers, representing the artistic commission of the french junior chamber international of Shanghai.

"The vocation of the French JCI* is to take part and contribute to the progress of the global community by giving to the young the opportunity to develop their leadership skills, their social responsibility and the necessary solidarity for taking actions to produce positive changes. Members of the JCI identify and realize projects to serve the positive evolution of their city in all fields: arts, social, economics, cultural, community…”

The Artdidact commission was born from firm JCI values such as willingness to open up, to share and to expand. Our goal is to promote art, whatever the supports, by bringing together inhabitants of the city, through an artistic research of expression and accessibility of these messages.

Beyond the elitism surrounding art, our aim is to offer to both amateur and professional the opportunity to expose their ideas, to cultivate a dynamic creativity and to develop the open-mindedness and the discovery of our surrounding world. Artdidact is also dedicated to helping all art lovers by offering them facilities to share and exchange.

With Artdidact, everyone may give and learn: sharing induces progress!

After a first exhibition in june 2007: “Project 88, Exotic Shanghai” (88 photos, 400 visitors and 5hours of exhibition), encouraged by positive returns from participants, Artdidact is now launching the organization of a more ambitious event:
a genuine picture festival: the Fe艺术iv’Art. (艺术 means ART in chinese).
